We have had our last junior committee meeting for 2020 which marks the end of Donna’s term with the committee in a formal role.

Donna has been working very hard on the committee over many many years (over 8 years) in many roles from age group coordinator across all ages to secretary and everything in between. She has also coached, been a selector and an umpire. Her outstanding talent for keeping us all organised and on track is never more evident than each end of year function.

I personally could not have done my roles on the committee without her support. Thank you 🙏

Donna’s contribution to the WASP junior club has been outstanding over many consecutive years. Her legacy is the number of juniors transitioning to the women’s teams, a considerable effort on Donna’s part to establish the processes and communication to ensure as many juniors as possible find “their spot” in the women playing group.

Of course we aren’t letting her leave that easily! She will still be continuing to contribute with selections etc so we will have chances to say thank you in 2021!

On behalf of the whole WASP community, thank you Donna! You are awesome and have truly made a difference for so many of us!
